What engine is in your Bora? 2.8L BDE?
Or the earlier (single coil pack) 2.8L AUE?
I used to get an error for B2S1 :
17516 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating; B2 S1
P1108 - 35-10 - Performance too Low - Intermittent
Readiness: 0010 1001
I got an o2 sensor and had that changed, the error was gone for a 2-3 months until I got a check engine error again. at first it didn't have any effect on the car especially when the car was warm.
Recently, it's become horrible. shaking all the time, very low power and high fuel consumption.

not really sure, but it's a 2001 model, v6.
2001 would be AUE.
If the engine is misfiring whether it be running lean/rich then it's only going to chew through O2 sensors.
Misfires can be so many things. But the fact that it's not isolated to 1 cyclinder gives a bit of a clue.
The AUE uses a single coil pack for all cyclinders, if it's dying this would be my prime suspect. They're about $150 on eBay, or you could try source a 2nd one, think the part no. is 021 905 106C.
Alternatively it could be the MAF, Camshaft Position sensor or a vaccum leak. Really need more info.
One thing I would definitely do though is fix this "Brake Switch P0571" and get it re-scanned. Brake switch's can wreak havoc with ESP system and all sorts of crazy stuff happens (loss of power being one).

And dude, get your engine code! Pull your rego papers out and look at the first 3 letters, it will be AUE.... or BDE...

AQP it is! Pretty sure they have single coil pack also, same a AUE.
If you were to take off the pre-cat O2 sensors and inspect them they may give you an idea if it's running too lean (less fuel, indicating fueling issue) OR too rich (too much fuel, indicating spark/ignition issue).
If they're white-ish or look burnt they're lean.
If they're black-ish and gunky then too rich.
I'm still thinking it's a coil pack.
PM Nick, pretty sure his wrecking a AUE/AQP Bora 4motion. His username is avwboy on here.
To give you an update, I took the car to my mechanic. the first thing he did was checking the plugs. They were totally worn out. after changing the plugs the car runs much better, no shaking, no sudden loss in power..but still horribly fuel efficiency..and you can feel a strong smell of burned fuel when the car is idle coming from exhaust.
Also he found out that one of the plug leads is short (sparks when removed from coil), called every dealer/aftermarket/wrecker for a plug lead and still no luck
This is the kind of error I am getting now...no misfire after changing the plugs
