Got my self a set of project wheels on the weekend.
There ATP 5 Razze in 5x100 18x8.5 ET35. A couple have slight gutter rash on the lips that will need to be machined. Not sure what tyres I will run yet, will have to do some investigation.
Put another $50 worth of fuel in it, drove it, came everywhere from the sound it made
haha yep! yeah flapper mod has been done already so its amazing! Think I need to start saving for some camber plates though :/
Serviced my Black V5 Bora:
Changed oil, oil filter, fitted ECS magnetic sump plug, removed airbox and fitted pod filter (yes illegal, but sounds cool, uleh), changed out the red powersteering fluid that previous owner had fitted (should not be used, eats away at seals) checked subframe bolts were tight and refitted secondary water pump that previous owner had deleted (still need to wire in a new plug for this to suit)
Car has done nearly 205,000kms and has noisy timing chains. I think I might start planning to swap a 20v V5 in
I reread that and it sort of sounds like I was relating the flapper mod to camber plates lol. Not the case at all, just that my passenger strut bush is gone, and dont really want to replace with a stock item if its going to fail after a few months. Hence the camber plates lol.
