Changed all my woodgrain interior trim today, everything except for my shifter so that's next then a black interior after that I hope.
Was left with about 3 random screws (whoops) and after removing the radio cage I had a bag full of the previous owners parking tickets and business cards.. And 5 bucks! Pics coming later

Cruise control stopped working, sad face.
Got home break light switch obviously failed, less sad face.
Call stealer for parts, $32.50, but ringwood doesn't have it, more sad face.
Call ftg, $30.50, 5 in stock, happy face.
Get there, pay $24.50 for it, more happy face.
5 minutes to install, no tools!
Everything turned out better than expected

    all 3 in now.
needs a bit more of a tidy up but will do that after changing the globe colours and new coloured trim goes in.
also fixed a leak in the management side

Go to HSY !! They even have an SA store in Edwardstown, South Adelaide. These guys are one of THE best for service parts in Australia on euro cars, they have euro/OEM brands, at much cheaper prices than anywhere else. Just ring and ask for a quote, let us know how you go! I'd like to see the price comparison..

    HSY: Contact

PS - I've found Repco pretty expensive these days for parts, and I don't even get a quote from them anymore. other things like car care & tools I'll still go there, but not vehicle specific service parts etc.

There is also 'Imparts', which can be cheaper on some things, but I've found that they don't like selling to the public, and want to know which garage/account you are calling from. Wouldn't even give me a quote. HSY on the other hand, I found don't hassle you much, just ask you where you're from, and you answer 'private mechanic' or something like that and they're ok with that.

    haha I dunno.
its a hell of a lot easier being able to air the car up to get the jack under tho.
this is like changing 8 wheels though.
each corner involves wheel off, adapter off, new adapter on, new wheel on. then repeat for the other 4.

usually get bored or tired and wonder off after 2
