Nice one Stan! what's one of those worth? Also, what's the sound like? I'm looking for something that it pretty quiet around town unless I'm giving it a bootful, I don't mind noise then. But essentially a downpipe or muffler that just adds a slightly better/deeper note, but nothing that draws unwanted attention..

Ecu is not opened, adapter from the CC laptop plugs right into the ecu, all done by software.
If Gav can get to your car, the ecu can even stay put, the big plug comes out, the adapter plugs in and in a few minutes it's done. Simple as that, and awesome power gains. All these do, even if another company replaces/adds a chip, is change fuel and timing mapping and alters boost.

If Gav cant get to your car, post him the ecu in an overnight bag, Gav will flash it and post it right back. A couple of days turn around, all done. His price beats everyone else as well, and will depend a bit on what you need and what you have.

He has a thread on the process somewhere, hit him up if you are interested. I paid under $700, but had a clean unaltered ecu.

Sounds a bit rumblier, if that says anything. Not loud, not a big change, but you notice it. pipe alone actually made a gain in power. Paid under $500 but got in early on an introductory deal, ask Tim, lovely guy, very helpful.

The unit is a downpie and cat section, joins on at the regular place and goes back to the rear muffler. 3" at the engine end and a reducer section to join onto the muffler section. Check Tim's post on them, his pics show it all. I could go the full system, but what i have now works really well.

Awesome, thanks Stan! Where will I find out more info on Tim? Got a username/business name/link?

Sorry if it's obvious. Thanks in advance.

I drove my car today. First time since it went away on a tow truck many weeks ago.
But the original problem I had was a strange knocking/rumbling noise, that has not gone away.
The noise is probably a wheel bearing or CV it will go back next week for full diagnosis, but I have been assured that it will not blow up.

What got fixed was the damage caused by the shearing of the rivets on the crown wheel.
I also had the tappet cover gasket done, it was leaking oil around the coil packs. And the power steering pressure sensor was leaking a bit too.

So no more buses for me !
