    bingle dont allow modifications.

I cannot stress this enough, if you have non-written modifications and the insurance company *believes* they attributed to an accident (read- aftermarket rims, suspension etc) you run the risk of getting a $0 cheque.

furthermore, if you have any non RWC modifications, youll get the lovely $0 cheque unless you get lucky and a peanut checks your car.

I might as well just go third party come to think of it.

I would not be too worried about a $0 cheque, the other party wanting their money is way more scary.
Shannons $712 is my choice. Ive claimed with Aami, qbe, suncorp, nrma and shannons. Shannons experience was the least stressful, best repair etc

My insurance just went down to $650 with RACV for full comp, winning!
thats including lowering, 18" wheels and $1-1.5k worth of sound system (that i dont have anymore)
think its like a $500-600 excess + an age one of $750 because im under 25

I might look into Shannons then. Are they the best for 'modified' cars? What exactly IS a modification according to an insurance company? As far as I know, everything on my car is 'legal', so what is a 'modification'?
