What have you done to your mk4 (golf/bora) today?

Headlights look good Neroo, What are you planning on doing about the lower grills? Mine have faded a lot aswell, any idea how to bring them back to new(That doesn't involve paint)?

you could try what i did with the rest of my black trims ( kiwi leather polish ) worked quite nicely on the rest of it but dont know how long it would last ... so far ive had it on the rear valance for a month and its still a nice black , i dident do it on the front as it was realy tricky to get into and i ran out so yeah il try that to the front aswell and see how we go. .... yeah i like the colour but for some reason i would perfer a metalic black like on my dads touareg or mums golf

Thanks man, unfortunately I didn't take nicer pictures on the weekend, mainly to being an idiot and forgetting my SD card for the camera

But, they're painted matte gunmetal grey - I didn't do it, they were already on the car when I bought it. Although I know it usually cost around $400. It looks really good on the reflex silver, on any of the other colours it could look over done

so spent a fair bit of time making the car all sweet =]

firstly did a headlight resto as they were horific to look at


and then i had time so a cut, polish and a wax was called for =]=]=]=]

( yeah i know the bottom of girlle is missing .. ive gotta do something about its faded condition )

the product i used was a $50 invision headlight restoration kit , your local repco should stock it , neat little kit has pretty much everything you need with the exception of masking tape and water lol =]

hehe thanks man but my paint was in preety good condition to start off with but to get the result i used
1) 3m Super duty rubbing compund ( only use this stuff in worse areas as its basicly a rough polish )
2) meguiers deepcrystal polish ( this stuff is great very fine )
and lastly i used turtle wax's extra hard shell wax .... to finish it off i still need to give it a wash and apply a nother layer of turtle wax

edit : forgot to mention all done by hand as i dont like the finish a machine leaves

also grtuned just letting u know dont get any water on the headlights after u do it for atleast a day as it will stuff them up .. had it happen before on a freinds car , it ruins all your hard work

Got some guard work done and put my wheels on. Needs moar lows in the rear as the KW V1s didn't go down as low as I thought they would. Was told I would have to take the perch out for a bit more drop but what are the cons of doing so?

I only have one Instagram pic but will take proper ones from better angles when I have time.

oh wow!
yeah can prob take the perches out. but make sure you lower the front before u do. already looks like the wheel gap up front is already bigger then out back.
final specs of wheels and tyres please????
