i looked at buying the bonnet bra a while back octo. I was hesitant due to the seller being in turkey to be honest. good to see it arrived quickly though.
Front tires were wearing down a tad on the 4mo. Took it to a mates work (tire shop) for a full rotation, alignment and balance
Gotta love mates rates!

Killed my Bora again.
I am currently stuck on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck.
I was driving along and it started to make a growling/grinding noise like a CV joint had died so I got off the highway and turned around. Then came a clunk and a big growl.
Pulled over and popped the hood. The engine is tilting over in a wierd way. Looked down into the gaps and I can see where the engine mount at the front on the left hand side of the car has a huge chunk snapped off. The bolt for the rear engine mount has sheared off.
So I'm hoping there hasn't been too much damage done to the driveshaft etc
I'll post some photos shortly
dude that sucks! let us know how it goes
'01 Saab 9-3 S
past rides: '01 Bora 4motion, '03 Golf Sport 2slow, '92 Ford Laser GL wagon (caught on fire)
Mate thats unlucky i havent seen this type of damage to a Bora before plaes post pics, I have seen it in on golfs when they have had a timing belt done but the person has not torqued up engine mount bolt's correctly and over time they work loose and snap and in some cases damage to the block has been done, not pretty!!! Hpoefully just your mount is snapped....
I'm pretty sure the engine and gearbox are fine.
