Needed to feel good about something after the crappy week I have had so I did a quick test fitting of my Oettinger wheels before the car needs to go back to the mechanic on Monday.

gringo, I had that problem with my old ute but only at BP service stations, any other brand it would fill up fine.

    Tyres are 225/45 17

They are Continental SportContact 2 but only have about 45-50% tread left. I'm very tempted by Nitto Invos as replacements but hopefully I will get at least 15-20,000kms out of these before I have to start thinking about replacements.

The front bar is a bit loose on the driver's side which makes it look wonky on the passenger's side. I plan on fixing that when I get a proper 4motion lower valance and when I fit the new headlights I am doing a bit of internal blackout work on.

These Oettinger wheels only sit an inch closer to the guard than the stock wheels but it's really noticeable. Looks nice.

Attempted fixing the illumination of the stereo screen...

Successfully removed the front of the stereo circuit board, removed the blown globes, and attempted to retrofit LED's in there...

    Didn't work

Now I need to get 2 new bulbs from Jaycar tomorrow morning so I can re-assemble the radio / car before the missus needs it.
