I've been tempted by those - how did you connect them up to your light switch - did you have to make your own wiring loom?
re. things I've done to my mk4, forgot to mention that early this morning as I was driving home I got rear-ended as I was waiting to turn right at a set of lights.
I'd been waiting at the lights for a good 40 seconds and was the only car on the road ... Saw the headlights of a car approaching me in my rearview mirror and didn't think anything of it until he just didn't stop(!) - I couldn't believe it. He hit me at about 5 - 10kms an hour and bounced off. Scraped the rear bar and pushed my rego plate into it.![]()
Got all the details and reported it to police today ... Will be ringing the insurance company tomorrow. Looks like I have a month of stuffing around with quotes and getting it sorted ahead of me. Might take the opportunity to get the front bar/bonnet and passenger door looked at too ...
Upgraded Aerial from Dub Addiction - no more remote-control ...

Ok got home from work and looked in the garage where the bora parked near my hot oval and started thinking.gotta do something different!!!!
So i took apart most of the black plastic parts in the engine bay filter box, big engine cover, fuse box cover, battery cover, wiring harness cover thingy near air filter.
I polished one of the aluminuim bits on the throttle body with alloy polish almost chrome like
Im going to spray them in a nice colour.make the bay look flashy.
