    You could just put a small bit of hose on it too with a screw if you just want to keep dirt/water out of it.

    I had a rubber cap lying around that you can put over the end of a carby vacuum port, so it fitted perfectly.

    The vacuum canister doesn't do anything once its disconnected.

    The line from the solenoid must be blocked or the motor will burn out.

    With the flappper mod, is it ok to just pinch the hose up with a small clamp or similar? Do you have to disconnect it and block the the end of the hose?

    I believe that as long as the clamp completely closes the hose off, that'd be fine.
    Nothing to see here...

    It's very difficult to do this. A normal hose clamp is too big and does not clamp it. I used a mini G clamp for a while but this damaged the hose and I had to cut it and block it off normally. Should have done this in the first place.

    A tie wrap will work to clamp and seal a loop.

    Just fold the hose in half zip tie it and chuck a screw in the end of it...neatens it up and seals the hose I used rape tape to seal off the chamber nozzle...She sounds so hot! Went to an underground car park aswell and that sounded amazing aswell.

    I went to look at Eagle F1s the other day aswell...still tossing up between that and RE01A Potenzas.

    Took my new airbox (Euro DSG Mk4 R32 airbox with much larger intake snorkel) out of the box today, and was pleasantly surprised to find it came with a brand spanking new air filter as well.

    Still need to get the following bits fitted the the car:

    * DSG Airbox
    * Dieselgeek Short Shifter
    * Proper R32-spec braided brake lines (front and rear)
    * New front rotors
    * New QFM A1RM brake pads front and rear.
    * TyrolSport Caliper Stiffening Kit.
    * R-Line pedal & sill kit.

    Hoping to order my Unibrace soon as well. Will be doing a gearbox oil change when the short shifter goes in too.

    Then an uprated rear swaybar, front upper and lower suspension braces. And all this in time for the Nationals (hoping to track the car in the Nationals Super Sprint and then show it as a daily driven OEM+ Mk4 in the actual show!).

    Where'd you get the braided lines from, linky and/or how much?
