Found that there was a leak coming from the fuel injectors so removed everything to check it out n managed to break one of the injector seats when putting it back together
Car has been upsetting me for the last few months as its had a miss @idle and cruise that i havnt been able to track down the reason for but fingers crossed its the injector issue and not another hidden issue

Replaced relay 192 with relay 377 thus downgrading the non-functional rain sensing wipers to fully functional intermittent wipers.

    all back and sounding goooood!

the pinched (triangle) bit between the muffler and the cat has been replaced with a straight through pipe.

instead of cutting a hole in the valance I got him to add and extend a second pipe out to just underneath the valance (but still hidden)

Added a couple of dump tips.

Tied the flapper closed into the more sedated position as well (used some tie wire)

    All up $220 (inc gst)

This post is proof that you can add a MKIV r32 muffler easily to a bora 4motion.

Just did thirty km up the freeway and back.

There is the smallest and I mean marginal increase in noise over stock but it's not even noticeable.

    No drone at all....

    I'm pretty bloody chuffed.

I'm off for a 300km round trip tomorrow but I'll give it a few days then swap the flapper around to see how the louder version goes..

I'll keep an eye on fuel consumption as well
