    Washed the car today too actually. Didn't get any pics coz it's not sitting even as it settles down, might grab some anyway tomorrow though.

    Ah back to the sweet sound of six!

    4Motion owners: it might be a good preventative exercise (and perfect excuse to drink beer in this heat) to pull your coils out to check their condition.

    The one that failed last week due to heat had snapped clean off in the bore. But a few JMac tricks (and quite a bit of muscle) later, all's well. Zip ties FTW eh Jimmy

    The others were either absolutely perfect or required only a slight dusting with 1200 sandpaper to remove some of the build up that should be there if the coil is doing it's job.

    Jimmy also recommended removing the heat shield from one as it's a bit redundant, considering the rubber sleeve seals snuggly around the plugs. New coil going in shortly to replace that one anyway.

    Also may have another diagnostic fix for noisy auxiliaries (but more R&D needed on that one... )

    Drove on dirt for the first time in my .:R Was pretty nervous about it but took it easy and was only for 500m.

    My R got her chassis cleaned, her exterior buffed and interior cleaned!!!
    Her new owner is ready for her to go to a new home....

    JVLR32 has sold....i reckon u will all know quiet soon

    haha! WOOO!

    i detailed my entire car (outside) whilst it was on the hoist today actually. thanks to bruno, vince and lora who came and instead of helping used the wash and detailed their cars too .. LOL

    all the chassie around the calipers backin plates etc?
