    today i had a new waterpump installed, the timing belt was changed 2000km ago so i didnt have to do that! and i've only had the car for 5days

    hopefully all's good now

    Oh big mistake. Did that happen to be a VW dealer/service centre that did the original work?

    Power window started working again after a 2 day break from working properly...

    Yeah, is it a 1.8T? because aside from the fact that the pump should have been replaced during the original job, I thought VW had issue a bulletin stating that 1.8T timing belts were not to be reused once removed!

    my one touch down function doesn't work from time to time...but apparently my window regulators were changed to new metal ones.

    Washed mine...

    Had the display (trip etc) on the dash not turn on the whole trip to work? lights worked etc, everything else worked, turned the car off, back on, it works! random...

    Yeah! was strange, was just a normal drive to work...

    I was ****ting myself, when ever i buy my car new things, something goes wrong. so happy it fixed itself!

    The one touch stops working after a loss of power to the motor. So that could be battery removal, switch removal, or a fuse.
    Simply hold switch to roll it all the way down, then back up again. It then knows the full range and one touch works again.
