What have you done to your mk4 (golf/bora) today?

Ordered some cheap rims n tires from StGeorge Tyres. Lexii really does exist and she looked after me
Also swapped out my boot badge to an all black item.

Other than that, i checked all the suspension fasteners after the swap out the other week and went about doing a filter and oil change.
Not really sure what the deal is with my sump plug though? All interweb mentions were for a 19mm nut but mine seems to be a stripped 14mm nut? So needless to say, i left the oil and filter for another day.

Pics some day soo after i fit the wheels and wash it lol.

Great mod - jets blast the blade and blow all the grit off and it also totally eliminates the inital dry wipe that Golf has.

Yes, still have stubbies.

If you do not wish to go to the expense of swapping the wiper motor, you can still install the Audi aero wiper arm to the existing VW wiper motor spindle.

In this case , the washer jet will stay stationary pointing straight up, so you need to also install a Cap with a slot like the OEM VW Cap.

As the Audi aero arm sits lower on the glass and there is a different shape where the Audi arm meets the Cap, the existing VW Cap cannot be reused.

Therefore need a Cap from Skoda Fabia I Hatchback (not Combi!) with part number 6Y6 955 435

This cap has the aero shape join to arm and correct slot for VW jet to work.

***This cap looks like it may require a small amount of trimming inside to sit flat.***

It SHOULD fit to shape of Audi aero arm but perhaps needs a couple of plastic nubs dremeled off inside to sit flat.

Some one would have to try it to see 100%

If it fits, then you can put Audi Q5 aero arm on VW wiper motor

put on my stubby antenna off Ebay instead of the military grade factory item.
much nicer to look at and reception is hardly if at all affected which is a bonus!

also removed and prepared my head unit for install into the golf from my previous car

Fitted up my JVC single din bluetooth/mp3/cd headunit yesterday, much better sound and I can finally use my USB sticks of music instead of terrible radio playlists..

I bought some illuminated dash vents for my golf can't wait to get them and wire them them and fit them ......
