I used one of those green kitchen scourers and then gave the surface a really light sand with wet and dry to tidy it up. Soaking the trim pieces in warm water seemed to help too.

I've tried so many different methods, and the easy stuff comes of easy, and the tough stuff is near impossible without near melting the plastic!

I absolutely hate the soft touch stuff! some parts are such a pain to get off. For the stuff that doesn't want to come off try using some methylated spirits, i also recommend this thingy

it allows you to scrub much harder without hurting the plastic

Got the shark fin antenna from ebay .. painted it the same color of the car .. turned out quite good !
Also debadged The Bora !

whats reception like? my stubby antenna reception is pretty average.. link to the one you bought if its good?

Another option is the Polo aerial (part number 6RO 035 849) - not as stubby as the stubby aerial (so better reception), but not the remote control style aerial either - fits like OEM.

Reception is quite ok .. having said that .. i dont use the radio that often .. but it doesnt seem any different from what it was like before ..
