Just finishing up my wheel wells. Bit of a pressure wash and some degreaser and they're looking a lot better.
Also noticed the top spring perch on my V3's is split in half. Awesome news haha.
I was up to my eyeballs in in golfs today
Making 1 out of 2.

MK4 Genius' Poll:
Is there a big difference between getting say, a bolt on K04/K03s, and getting a K04 with manifold and injectors etc? In my mind; a bolt on, a down pipe, and a new tune is all I need (for simplicity, resale, and what I use it for).
Maybe I'll just put the money aside to save for a MK4 R32? I REALLY, REALLY wish they had 5 door ones here..
In other news..
• Yesterday I picked up a few smashed bits from a wreck, going to try to use the wiring and bits from smashed headlights to retro fit fog lights into my joey modded headlights..
• Today I'm cleaning and preparing my car for the paint shop and the Shannons assessor tomorrow!! ..Where hopefully it'll be dropped off there for a week of paint..
Dark Grey Mk4 Golf, 1.8T GTI conversion, APR stage 1, stock air intake, FMIC, 3" to 2.5" Exhaust, FK AK Street Coils, Black 18" (Avant Garde M310's ?), tinted tails, ...
Yeah both 1.6's.
Bought the 99 auto in the second pic for my son's first car.
Had a little hit in the front and needed a bonnet, rad support, headlights and grill.
It's a little untidy but it will scrub up alright.
The 02 in the first pic is a manual, pretty tidy car but the engine is toast.
Bit of a shame to wreck it because it's still got 7 months rego and is a good car bar the engine.
Going to swap the interiors over as well.

Something a little less exciting....
Fitted 235/40/R18 Falken Eagle F1 tyres to my rear 9.5" rim. Had 215/40/R18's before and the stretch was horrendous! Looked mad but I wasn't confident in their stability and nor would any po-po in my area.
I believe you do. I was the buyer of a sweet looking bora in Canberra sold by a guy named Seb.
It had a really mad looking wheel & tyre setup with serious tyre stretch on the back pulling a 215/40 on a 9.5" rim. Looked sweet but I was very unsure of its safety for hard road use (I love doing fast mountain runs). Got a 235/40 stretched onto it and still looks neat enough. Tyre looks nice and chunky. Thankfully I haven't seen any scrubbing on the tyre yet. I think his stiff coils help with that.
Are you the mate I sms'd asking about your enormous wheel collection?
