What have you done to your mk4 (golf/bora) today?

Not sure on the high use of the plasti-dip, nor the rubbery feeling of it in summer.. But I definitely wanted the matte look like the OEM, and have a can ready to go, so thought I'd give it a try.. I'll have a look at the krylon fusion acrylic you've mentioned too, does it leave a matte or gloss finish?

Ive just used VHT vinyl dye from repco in the past and had no problems.

It never came out over i think? It does look pretty cool but yea its not in the best shape atm which is why i wanted to do the brushed affect. Dont know how much the hydro design costs?

Krylon leaves a matte finish - I found it at Carrero Art Supplies. Matte Black is the colour.

Yeah, after you mentioned it, I checked the couple if test bits I did the other day in plasti-dip, and the door handle must have been leaning against something in the box and the PD already had a bump/dent there.. So I might go for a drive after I wash all of the parts to look for an alternative like the vinyl sprays mentioned..
