Replaced my faulty thermostat and flushed coolant. Any reason I might notice more power and responsiveness after I installed the new one?

just get some warm soapy water and scrubbed it with a scuff sponge until it becomes a smooth surface. Looks 100 times better!

Washed and had a play with the height of the coilovers. Need some spacers and a set of Centering Plates to make it sit a bit nicer.

I feel your pain. I to was once a guy with pristine rims until the GF drove my car shattering my dreams. You have sense of strangling her, then of crying but in the end you just cop it on the chin.
