Simply hold switch to roll it all the way down, then back up again. It then knows the full range and one touch works again.
There is something in the owners manual about resetting it so your windows know there range again, i think it fixes a number of other electrical problems too...

i haven't really announced the mods, but thought i'd post up a pic! finally got them sprayed, once again thanks to Jade Auto for all the work.

they're not huge, but big enough to what i will be using them for (Braking lol). i thought about going bigger however realistically it would have no benefit other then purely cosmetic as i actually do drive my car! will update sometime soon when braideds go on etc..

Dropped car in to get Bilsteins, ECS frontend refresh kit and front anti-roll bar installed... but they called to say it wont be ready today..grrr.. another sleepless night in anticipation.

PS... Pierre, nice chair. I know VW love their wood inserts but your taking it to a completely new level! Watch out for splinters!

What is the front end refresh?

They do good work. but they are pricey.

ECS Front Suspension Refresh kit - replaces bushings, tie rods, strut top mounts, etc. goodfella has the stage 2 kit, as do I (had mine fitted a while ago now, but haven't really driven the car a lot since due to other issues).

I'm sure Heasman do good work - but I'll never take a car there.
    Nothing to see here...

    ah. i see.

why won't you take it there? I want to find someone else actually. They are just too pricey and they seem to have poor time management

i would personally never go there, many bad experiences with them. too many chances. they let the apprentices work on to many cars without supervision a lot of the time.

you could of taken it to anybody near by, pedders down the road is **** and still better imo. Jade is about 8m away they could of installed it all for you as well!

the mob in kirawee are good too, then you have Seb as well and plenty other choices

A bit of research on posts I've made with the word "Bilstein" in them should give you an idea.

As for what I did today - it's not my Mk4, but...

    Nothing to see here...
