JOM adjustable drop links put on today - hopefully will stop the driveshafts and the front antisway bar from meeting....

how low are you? i just took mine out and put the stock ones back in, the jom ones made the sway bar rub where the bolts for the links go through

not very, dont know for sure.
with the top of the wheel at eye level about 15mm between he top of the wheel and the top of the arch

the top bolt goes left right so i would have thought that it would rub the upper part of the mount before hitting any bolt...

it doesn't hit the bolt itself just the 'bulge' inthe swaybar where the bolt mounts to. ill warn you too that when i took the links out the brushing on the bottom had split and that was only after 5k kms or so

    thanks i'll watch for that.
so far the whole setup is rubbing far less.
might have to play with settings a bit

I've just had that with my ecs links. When you extend the drop links it pushed my sway up but rotated back which is rubbing on the mount point a lot earlier, just noticed.

I wonder if I lower the links a bit I can find a sweet spot with no rub...

Because of exactly this, the advice i read was to make the links short, not long

about 3/4 of the way down:
    http://www.vwgolf.net.au/showthread....0-daily-driver

    or chop down adjustables:
