Bolted RS's onto Dylan's Bora. I think I live out my 'stance days' through other peoples cars.
Keen eye and a steady hand at the right RPM was no issues with a hand drill. stepped from 12-13 and 13-14mm using sutton bits (talking 27dollars for a 14mm bit) and sutton oil. after each drilling, watered all the alloy away and kept moving.
Was quite enjoyable in the sun.
rims lookin beastly dyl
Got my Bilstein B8's and Eibach springs in last week. Car rides beautifully.
Drove to Goulburn on Friday and back Sunday, car was the perfect companion. I feel in love with it a little more over the weekend.
Have you tried a bolt through them yet? Some of the ones I opened up had to be done to like 15.1mm to suit the M14 bolts
Do have another set back in bairnsdale that needs doing so might have a crack by hand, cant see why it wouldnt work as there is already a hole there to centre it, not like making a new hole on a flat surface.
got some centre caps from a touareg (sp?) and made them fit into the drift teks, took a little ingenuity and a trip to mitre 10 but i think they turned out ok

Dropped mine off at Lombardi Bros today to get the new bumpers painted up and fitted after I got shunted a couple of weeks ago :) Should be back in a week or two!
Auto Corolla hire car; sounds nothing like a Golf, rides higher than a 4WD.
Drove mine to Adelaide and back. Won some prizes.
