Wouldn't have been wiser to get a new bolt from VW. Aren't they stretch bolts, one time use ?.
Tried an easy out ?
Went to a wreckers today to find another engine mount bolt here's what I got.
Now just have to get the snapped bolt out I've been trying it with a stud puller wrench but does anyone have any other ideas?

Yeah my plan is to get new ones from VW but their parts shop closed at 12 today I just need to have both bolts in to get it around to a mechanic to check for other damage.
Saw the easy outs, only problem is the location I would need a drill extension and I would be risking not drilling in straight with where it is. Has anyone had success with easy outs on bolts this big before.
