    Agree with the woodgrain....
Still on the fence with brushed aluminium trim. It look great, better than woodrain.
    I'm leaning toward black.

@ trickysimon : The gearknob is awsome.

ECS will send me broke lol

Wow I think I'm the only one who likes the woodgrain. I used to hate it but it's grown on me. This means I've got heaps of donors to replace my cracked inserts..

Also how the hell did I lose my Bora's lower front vent? Who on here stole it???

    I agree with black!

Mainly the surround of the stereo looks weird with woodgrain & bright metal. It's not connected to anything, just a random square frame of different material, sticks out like d-balls!

The door handle inserts, pedals and gearstick look fine with the brushed aluminium, then just black around the stereo! Bam!

If you crunch the front valance from the bottom they pop out. Iv lost driving lights twice and lost my drivers side grille a few weeks ago.

Ahh yes done that many times. Just ordered a replacement off eBay. I'll cable tie it on or something so even if it pops out it'll still be hanging there.

woodgrain is OG. But I really do like the aluminium trim though. Ill keep my woodgrain thanks, got other things to blow my money on.
And on that note. Took my car to Solitare Mile End (Adelaide) this morning before work.
Got the 90,000km service and rocker cover gasket replacement done.
Total cost was a tad rich from what I'm used to. But I'm not fussed in the end, I'm still happy.

Also when I get paid tonight, I shall be ordering a few goodies for the GTi
