Replaced the coolant sensor o ring and housing.
Not a fun job but hopefully it'll stop the slow leak. The o rings were pretty badly worn.
CC'd my Bora 4Mo. Wowsers, happy much? very cool. bye bye flatspot!
Hopefully nothing has been "done" to my Mk4 today, due to the GF driving it around.
Replaced the drivers side window armature after the glass fell inside the door after putting it down to let out the stench my dog let off in the car :(
Should have jsut opened the sunroof like I normally do, or held my breath!!! According to the guy who fitted, this is a common problem in the MKIV???? At $360.00 I hope that the others don't do the same anytime soon, or its something I can learn to do myself

Hmmm, I have been through two new windscreens in 8 months, have a cracked lens cover and now a new chip in the windscreen, but theyre not from traffic in front of me, theyre from oncoming traffic. We have a lot of roadworks going on around on our 110 km highways here at the moment, so theres loose gravel everywhere being flicked up. Its not always tailgating that does it, been driving for over 30 years and had the most trouble this year.....
Unfortunately the window regulators are prone to failing. Plastic clips deteriorate & the glass falls down, replaced with metal ones in the kits I think. Happens on Mk IIIs too
