This is very true haha another funny thing that happened yesterday is that I (a 17 year old kid) was left sitting in the drivers seat of the 458 in New York City so that the owner could go into a shop and not find a spot :face palm: (parked in front of a fire hydrant which is legal as long as someone who can drive is in the drivers seat)... I'm just gonna say that there were a few very strange looks haha

    First the bad.

Put it up on the ramps so I could find the oil leak that has come back (with a vengeance) in the last 24 hours. Even a stock Bora is too low for these ramps so I had to pull the bumper off.

    ....and the good.

Test fitting of my new toy. OEM FTW.
nice! going to say its sitting out a fair way...?

jpflorez that car has the fattest arse! some more lows and camber will make it blend in a little more... im sure there is something else you can do...

no good leighaus, atleast it wasnt a rock or bottle as cookie said.

Havnt done much to the bora. have purchased a few goodies and currently eyeing off some candy I originally wanted for it years ago however

I read somewhere that if the key is in the ignition, even if it's turned off, when you disconnect the instrument cluster you get an airbag failure warning. You need VAGCOM or a visit to the dealer to clear the code.

Yeah, I didn't want to click it into place yet as I don't have the right removal tools for that headunit. But I have installed it all the way now and ordered a set of the tools from Hong Kong so it won't be coming out again until they arrive.

think the battery needs to be disconnected as per above.
I did that when doing my seat swap and had no problem, was very scared about bags going off when the key was first turned after reading things on the net

Received my ECS shipment today, so I replaced 4 ignition coils and the cars running again
The strut spreader tool is for a 1/2 socket wrench and i've only got a 3/4 driver so that put off the coilovers yet again FML
I'll pick up some spring compressors and the wrench tomorrow and it will be done, fingers crossed.

I keep driving past this parking lot for buses near my area (West Footscray) and keep seeing a whole bunch of Mk4s in the lot all being used for parts. A few Golfs and Boras. I thought it was some sort of cool new underground wreckers that I discovered, but after calling up I found out the owner fixes up these cars or something and doesn't wanna sell any parts =( Anyone on here?
