looking good! as per VWfresh, lift the rear a touch, or even better, lower the front a touch. they will settle over the following weeks as leighaus said, so see how you go. best thing about coils is you can go up and down as much as you like to get it just how you wish.

got some commo wheel fitment, except for FWD..

my day started off as a mk3 day, pulling pieces off the VR, but turned into a mk4, fitted the train air horns from the VR in the bora. Ran them off my old lower fog light wiring loom and switch.
got a serious giggle from that. fitted nicely behind the lower grille on the drivers side. can be barely seen from the engine bay unless you lean into the bay..
turns out my drivers driveshaft is coping a serious beating, even the CV boot has weird wear marks on it. Might be time to lift it, as sad as it makes me until i get a frame notch and smaller diameter tyres that is...
clocked up 180,000km yesterday. still think the car is pulling harder then the day i got it 5years ago at 60,000km
also have a nice dint just off to the side of my boot on the drivers side... going by the hand prints left in the fine coat of dust on my car some knob has had a go at seeing how hard my suspension is while i was at work.

Today went to top ryde shopping centre and when returning to the 4mo saw this dumb F*%k run the shopping trolley into my passenger mirror he cracked it, and keep walking like nothing happened.lets just say i made him cough up a hundred bucks or else it wouldv been some teeth.

anyone ever changed the outer painted plastic bit on a mirror.is it a pain in the ass?

Dylan what's your ground to arch height front and rear? im at 62.5cm in the rear on 16's once I get my new wheels sorted it should tuck. The fronts will probably be around 62cm or something.

The previous owner swapped the front coils with some pedders lowering springs and must of done the strut nut up with air because I cannot ****ing loosen it spent all afternoon trying and it wouldn't budge I think i'll need to swallow my pride and get a shop to do it

um no idea... last time i checked was right on 24", but think its a bit lower now.
I just tuck the tread on 215/40/18s on 8.5s all round if that gives u some idea. i might measure it tomorrow.

maybe get someone to hit it up with a rattle run, just to loosen it off?

Timing chain skipped a tooth again....

    Washed it.
    Vacumned out the inside.
Wiped down the leather with leather wipes...
Seriously needs a good polish though...
