Most of the weight of the car is carried on the hub, so should be just as good if matched to the wheel size with hub-centric rings.
Shaved rear bumper, pulled apart hatch to work out what I needed to shave the rear hatch and delete the lever. Test fitted skoda poppers.

yeah I got one that has instructions on how to delete using an MK5 actuator etc is that what you've got?
I found most DIY's on the net assume that I use the factory remote central locking keyfob or install a new switch. My car didn't come with remote central locking, so I'm putting in a Viper alarm, which allows me to add actuators etc, so I had to check what I've got to play with, if there's sensors on the latch that will make the car act up etc.
Mine is mk4 and MK4 R32
