just had a free checkup of my car after 1000km as it had shock & springs & ecs stage 2 front suspension refresh kit put in recently by scot at arcus at artarmon.
strongly reccomend
nice, that's the exact setup i've got.
though not to make you feel worried, i was very dissapointed with the drop the sport springs gave me.
i estimated they would drop the whole car around 15-20mm.
instead, front dropped about 12mm, which was ok, but the rear dropped almost nothing!
when you get em in, can you take some measurements for me? and post in here:

cheers
btw, the ride and handling is excellent otherwise
yep it was your recommendation in an old post that made me use him
I also got them to do my pink slip at the time. Did it the once over and I didn't have to pay for a single part (he just reccomended what i needed to do myself, such as replace air filter... which i finally just got around to)
No worries mate, I will do. By the sounds of it i might not need the adjustable end links afterall. If i don't use them i'll put them up for sale.
I'm more interested in handling and comfort than drop for the most part, but i do hope it drops at least a couple of centimetres. You have probably put my mind to rest a bit though, as i was worried my exhaust might rub on the rear subframe if it dropped too far . I installed a stiffer cusco hanger quite a while back to address the issue on my stock suspension setup (basically with a full car of people the suspension would sag enough for the rubbing to occur when taking off in first gear).
anyways, i can't wait to get the new setup installed.![]()
chopped up my DVD player harness today and my OBD port works!
now to test out the C2 ECU again...
Also picked up some Meguiars plast-x to fix my foggy headlights, will post up some before and after

Going to replace the unit and mount it properly in the near future me thinks.

Well what an interesting afternoon...
a) tried to unfog my headlights, didnt do a great job. Probably going to buy some replacement lights and get some HID's in them
b) Time to try the C2 ECU that was continually giving me issues previously. Plugged in, cleared some fault codes, fired her up...
Idle was smooth, throttle blips ok, took her for a spin (where previously it had chuckled a CEL and died) and....
IT FREAKING WORKS!
Couldnt believe it, but it runs perfectly, checked for codes after a quick thrash (to test out the 7200rpm rev limiter) and no codes at all!
Going to give it some KM's over the next few days, and if all good will go back on the dyno.
To be honest, it feels a fair bit quicker, and less throttle lag when getting on and off the throttle.
Fingers crossed it stays working.

Got my birthday present. A custom 2.5" stainless steel downpipe, fitted by Castle Hill Exhaust.
To be honest, I'm surprised out how much harder the car pulls now.
