ordered another ECU and flash tune from C2 UK.
Will see how the software goes, but if all good it paves the way for a possible turbo kit in the future

Interested to see how the tune fairs vs the superchips, as I'll dyno back to back after the cams go in.

Replaced a hose and wow what a difference it made! No more overboosting issue now, smooth as. Guess the hose was leaking. Boost went down a little bit, but still a bit higher than it should be, now runs to around 13/14 and spikes to 15, instead of hitting 16 all the time and spiking to 17. Gonna take it up the coast fairly soon hopefully and get it checked and then flash tuned so that I know its running right. But very happy with how its running now

Just got her back from joe's today. Gotta pickup my wallet from the hospital tommorow allthought ill probably be ending up there soon.

Shes been throwing 11 codes but they were reset and only 4 codes remain.

17524 - Oxygen (Lambda) Snesor Heating; B1 S1: Open circuit
    P1116 - 35-00 - -
    Readiness: 0110 1101
Apparently its buggered. Connection been looked at and ok, been sprayed with contact cleaner. Quote is $500

    00281 - Vechicle speed sensor (G68 ) (37-00 - Faulty)
Also possibly buggered. Speedo works fine so does esc but possible cause of cruise control problems. Quote $250

    01274 - Air flow flap positioning motor (V71) (37-00 - Faulty)
Not sure on this one as it seems to be working fine.

    01318 - Control Module for injection pump (j399) (49-00 - No communications)
Not sure how this ones buggered if my car runs.

    Some questions tho.
Whats the typical redline of a bora 4mo? Mines changed itself to 5.5k when i believe it was 6.5k before. Joe said it was fine but it hasn't fixed itself for me.

Also managed to have a bent collar for one of the shifter cables which now needs replacing.

    Sigh heh.

yeah definitely get the part numbers and order from overseas, much cheaper!
"no communications" could be a problem with the wiring/sensor rather than the unit itself

redline is 6.5k, were you revving when stationary or cold?

Yeah i was aswell but i'm not sure if its the front or the rear ones. Where are they actually located ill have a look at the wiring.

The red line has changed but this was tested whilst warm on the road in gear.

    B1 S1 is Bank 1 Sensor 1

That's on the first bank of 3 cylinders nearest the pulleys and prior to the cat.

4Mo Boras have the same exhaust layout as the R32, two cats and 4 sensors.
