Today I ordered a Parrot CK3000 Bluetooth Kit for my Bora.
It comes with a Toyota Loom, but it should be easy enough to modify.
The controls are quite minimal, and I have plans to integrate them into a couple of buttons in my overhead console, but more on that later. The beauty with this system is that it mutes the sound system and uses the car speakers, so clarity should be good.
I'll be sure to post some photos and descriptions once it arrives and I install it.

what where you doing when it happened? any tell tales signs or sounds that it was giving way?
I blew the gearbox in my last car (Mazda Astina) whilst at a track day at Oran Park, didnt hear a thing with my helmet on, just that it was stuck in second and would shift at all!

Looks great, what do the LEDs do?
How far in do the mirrors fold in?
Saw your video on youtube, unreal mate. And to have the partner with you must be nice.
I would like to go to tassie to drive. A to do on my list of things to do in this lifetime.
anyway, a few weeks ago. I know it always tilts onto three wheels, but this is the first time; caught on camera!
Not me in Tassie. That's Al.
LED footlights are out of new Passat etc. They just light up when you open the door (like the interior light). But they will also light up if the interior light is switched off. So you will always get light in the footwell if the door is open. I also have a separate switch to turn them on whenever I like. They are all powered by the Comfort Control Module so even if you leave them on accidently they will switch off after a certain time (should be 1 hour like the boot light)
The puddle lights under the mirror light up when you unlock the car and also when you open door. Same circuit as the interior light/alarm system.
Mirrors dont fold completely flat against the body - just the same as the manual mirrors.
