she's lying to you mr. messy, don't believe her.

    she's toying with your mind.

she's effectively stopped you spending now, and when the savings account is suitably engorged, she will change her mind, not buy the new VW, and go out and buy something else instead!! - who know what, maybe even some cushions!!!!

    got a flat tyre
looks like it was a screw.
fixed it in the sun during lunch break hot n sweaty in the sun in suit pants, not fun, then realised i left the security lug in the wheel so it's now lost... FARRRRK!
I hope VW don't charge too much for them...

turns out its a gash in the sidewall just under the thread. Either a pothole or a slash, unrepairable... Not happy. Tyres (and my wallet) aren't quite ready for a new set either... Might lookround for a spare turanza... Or whatever they're called.

next time you're buying new tyres, ask the dealer about a tyre insurance policy. they cost around $7 per tyre and you are covered for things like this

Replaced the dreaded breaking window regulator in the front passenger door. Easy enough job if you know what you're doing, which I did not. After much swearing it is done. I'm grateful that after checking the drivers side it's already been done.

BUT......Come on, Volkswagen!! This should NEVER have happened!

I've been saying for ages we should go to consumer affairs with this one.

my passenger window winds down, but has to be manually 'encouraged" to wind up again. is this the regulator? and how much did it cost you to fix?
