What have you done to your mk4 (golf/bora) today?

I hate the dealers prices too. And the only VW wrecker in know of in BNE charges almost as much for old parts.

I don't know what dealer you were talking to but when I replaced my rotors last year I was quoted $550 a rotor at a VW dealer and that was me just walking in off the street.
Bought them through GAP anyway for $400, but still $680 sounds to me like they are gouging something rotten.

on the pricing of dealers, as said it varies from dealer to dealer. you can always try other resellers of parts as well locally tho

That was actually the cheapest of several dealership parts departments I talked to. I do believe the prices have dropped a bit of late though, but they're still nowhere close to what ECS etc can deliver...

Received my R center caps, 4motion badge, front/back rotors and pads. Got everything from ECSTuning, fast shipping and no problems. The R center caps look really nice in my opinion..

I've had a more busy day im afraid. I've had to change a light bulb in the front, wipers, and oil dipstick funnel and did a full red coolant change on my MK4 Golf 2002.

Seems all good so far.

Gave the dirty little Bora a bath, booked it in for detailing, and got a desperately awaited call from redranger/whiteline about my sway bar being posted tomorrow hopefully!!

hopefully ill get my new box in this week sometime before the dyno if not no stress i guess! give it a buff and off to melb a few weeks later!
