Be aware that any headlights you buy must suit a RHD market (most of the ones on Parts4Euro are for LHD markets).
1- leave as standard
2- paint just the 'outer' chrome part black
3- paint both outside chrome and main headlight black (joey mod)

Nothing to see here...
For the first set im going to go black to keep it classy and clean, want that OEM+ look.
I plan do something bright or rat with the other set, along with some other parts, for a laugh and a different look to stand out.
No need for new lights guys, i already have a few sets. im wondering what type of paint/finish i need for the black?
More than anything I would say high temp due to the globes head output. But speak to RayRay086 he has done a fair few headlights joey styles
I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...
think i will, hes name does seem to pop up all over the net when i was searching for information.
Thanks!
ok lights are apart. the chrome part that attaches to the lense (part im painting) has a second chrome strip screwed to the back. as far as i can tell it is hidden from the lights, so i cant work out what its for. Any ideas?
I'll try upload some pictures. basically i need to know if i paint/dont paint it aswell...
This photo is with the chrome sitting out at the top. if you can imagine when its pushed back flat against the main part of the headlight, the smaller part in question is hidden.
I tried to do a 'exploded' view of the lights, the piece I'm holding is the part in question.
Any one know what it actually does...?
It could be part of the levelling system or maybe part of the LHD/RHD adjustment.
