    What brake padS?

Hey guys well ive got a mk4 2.0l sport anyway i changed my pads about 8,000kms ago if not that. i changed the pads and disks and the pads were bendex pads. anyway they are really now starting to annoy the **** out of me as they squeel more than a girl.

was wondering what pads should i get and how much?

Im just looking to change to any other pads that are good, dont squel and dont cost an arm and a leg.

    any help?

Just a question...Did you put in the anti squeal shims when you replaced the pads?

Squealing is the pads vibrating. If there's no shims then some copperslip on the back of the pads will help.

I also chamfer the leading edge of the pads a bit, when I fit brake pads.

Yep chamfer the pads is the shot, now you mention Bendix, were they GCTs????? They are normally pretty good, not sure about the normal Bendix.

I recommend putting an R32 motor in your car You wont have any brake pads to worry about after 8,000 kms

Yep, did you machine the disks when fitting new pads ? or check the minimum diameter of the disk ?

i have the shims and everything but its still happening. when i first leave to work thats when the worst obviously because it just started running.

if i change the pads do you recommend to sand down the rotors or that the rotors are possibly the problem?

All i know is just that they are the stock bendex ones.
