water in da tailgate

anyone ever had/have any tips, experience, or come against a mk4 tailgate that lets in water...then when u open tailgate and reclose water starts to drain out again? help me what do i do???

Normally it means that the tail light was removed and that the backing sponge/plastic is no longer there and so it'll leak thru the 3x holes there going into it. that or your bootlid is not sealing correctly

check both, adjust both accordingly and it shouldnt happen
