Got the cable off someone on this forum for $200. Softwares free but it requires a legit cable.

Me and a mate finally installed the first part of my ECS tuning short shifter. My god the difference the short shifter and 42dd bushing makes. Transformed the shifter completely. (Unfortunately didn't get any pictures)

Also got around to installing the cabinaro air intake in. Unfortunately this also cost me my licence because the sound is so god damn beautiful that i when around a corner which had nobody around, dead straight, well lit and gave it some to hear the sound. I then came straight back down to the speed limit but it was too late. 10 demerits and $700 later im kinda annoyed, but still worth it.

Sucks about your licence mate but looks like the car is coming together a treat. Did you notice much of a difference with the air intake besides the noise ?

Heh, Cheers all. I know its my fault and all that but it still sucks. I think i'm going to have to do the 12month good behavior thing.

Yeah made it a bit more responsive and my mate also noticed the top end had a bit more, unfortunatly my car's rev limiter has changed down to 5.2 at the moment so trying to get that fixed to get the full length of the engine.

I couldn't believe the difference it made. It makes it so much nicer. I guess they don't due to the like older people who would complain that its too stiff and short.

Yeah unfortunately, 5 seconds of fun with big consequences. At least the undercover guy admitted to me that it was just a short burst. He was also very nice because somehow my payment for the rego didn't go through so my car was unregistered for the last two weeks. Weird thing was that all the details were put into the thing online.

Yeah i know how low down that thing is and have heard a story of one of the guys with a r32 hydro locking his during that weird storm last year. Think i'm going to avoid any puddles i can.

I have a EVO motorsports CAI fitted and its almost identical to yours,, its been on for over a year and never had any dramas with puddles, then again I dont drive a boat, so I dont aim for them either!

Drive sensibly in the wet and you'll be right, pardon the irony in that comment
