I'm going to be a pain once more before I hit the "buy now" button for a set of 18x8.5" ET35 Miro Type 111's from the US.

Next Level Motoring are having a "Buy 3, Get 1 Free" sale so it comes to $1000US including $320 for delivery. This promotion means that I won't get charged the custom duty as the value of the wheels are going to be listed as $650 (3 wheels price).

Just to confirm, how far from the guards would a 18x8.5" ET35 sit on a lowered Bora 4mo (with camber adjustable arms)?
Will there be miles of room, or just a a cm or two? I want to get the rim as close as possible to the edge without going past it.

Really appreciate all the help giving to me in this thread!

    Thanks SLAJ
im kinda put off these wheels now as 19s just seem to be too much of a problem and money is the answer to that problem haha
Tyres for them will just cost too much for what I'm willing to spend and just won't look right on the car.

Would someone be able to confirm that 17" Polo GTI Wheels (Denver) off of a 6R will fit? they are 17x7, PCD 5x100, with ET +46 as I've found a set and don't want to commit to anything without confirmation.

    Cheers Nathan

    Thanks again SLAJ
Hopefully i can get them That way my car is more suitable for the road instead of driving on tyres that are basically slicks that want to spin at any chance they can haha

Also what wheel lugs/nuts will i need to purchase to fit these wheels m14x1.5x?? and also Lock nuts?
Where can they be purchased? Preferably in a local store (SA) or Australian eBay?
(id prefer to stay away from international due to the delivery time)

    Cheers Nathan

    Yeah they'll be 14x1.5.
I'd just go through ECStuning, their stuff usually reaches me in just over a week and they'll have the bolts you need. I know of a bolt shop in Melbourne but wouldn't have a clue about S.A.

    Hey guys,

Im really glad I stopped to read this thread! It has been useful.

I am looking at getting a staggered set of 3DSM 0.01 wheels to put on my MKIV R32. I am looking at getting 18 X 8.5 ET35 on the front and 18 X 9.5 ET35 on the rear. As is, the suspension and brakes are stock. I may be looking to get some KW V3 or similar coil overs in the future.

From my own research I think that these will fit fine without any spacers needed for clearance etc on the stock suspension? Would you guys be able to comment on the fitment of these wheels and appropriate tyre sizes?

    Thanks!

Should be fine. Simon runs similar (9.5et40) on his 4mo, he does have issues with the wheel hitting the external canister on the v3s. But hopefully 5mm more should be enough to clear it when you do install them

quick question, do 4mo boras have a offset differences to a fwd boras?
eg: put a certain size offset and width wheel on a fwd bora but then put the same on a 4mo and it will sit different in terms of sitting flush with front or rear guards?

    Short answer: Yes.
Fwd Bora will need a lower offset compared to a 4mo Bora.

Front will be the same for both fwd and awd.

Rear is a bit different... If both cars were stock height the 4mo would need 5 or 10mm more spacing each side to match whatever the fwd was doing.
When lowering the 4mo will need more spacing again if nothing is done to camber settings etc, introduce new control arms top and bottom and its different again.

So as stock front wheels are the same, rear wheels are 'narrow' track compared to the fwd rear end
