    Vag tacho - brisbane

    G'day,

Would anyone be kind enough to help me program my remotes for my Mk 4 Golf in Brisbane?

Happy to meet at your convenience and can bring a laptop no drama's.

Will need the Vag Tacho lead and the required disc (if applicable).

    Be very grateful.

    Thanks

    Matt

It's all good, I opted to buy a Vag Tacho instead.

    Cheers

Vagtacho to code remotes? If u have 2 remotes and 2 keys you don't need vag tacho or vag com,. You can do without any software
    Good luck

I have 2 spare remotes and one working key with a transponder that doesn't work.....

I've followed the links on this forum and I was led to believe that this was the only way to do it.....there's a thread in the Mk 4 forum explaining step by step how this needs to be done and everything suggests you need a vag tacho cable.

As i am inexperienced in programming replacement remotes i turned to this forum for assistance.......

Are you advising that the Information on this forum is incorrect? If so, maybe I do require your services.....

How much to programme 2 x new remotes?

Dont always take a forum as gospel many have with massive fails, to do it without software all you need is 2 keys that open ie one that goes into the ignition and one that can manual lock the doors, even the plastic valet key will do, then i can do it if the remotes arnet faulty, no probs. however if you have a key that has a non working transponder then you will have a non starting car, this the case?, ill chat to you mate to get the picture. Reading this now you have 2 remotes which includes the keys?? Then the transponder need programming, that needs an eeprom reader like vag tacho which i have, and the remotes will be manual or VCDS, yet another bit of software. Ill chat to you mate
