haha, not quite, you need to code the ecu or one of the controllers so that the key fob actually controlls the windows. it might already be coded on the R32, or perhaps someone has already done that mod for you?
but a good tip none the less. just not usefull to me yet!

I have a kvw100 mod, so the fob closes the windows automatically now on pressing the lock button.

How do i activate auto door locks at 30kmh??

Here's a couple of starters - just what can be done, no instructions

- auto open / close windows via remote & central locking
- auto lock doors at approx 30kmh
- single press to unlock driver's door only, double press for other doors
- distance to empty (half height display clusters, not sure about full height clusters)

There's a thread elsewhere in the Mk4 section about how to do some of these already
Some things require manual programming too, not just on/off options via VCDS

You should be able to do it with one of the handheld VChecker type devices, rather than needing a full VCDS/VAGCOM setup. It's an option in the Comfort settings I think.

yeah its a mk4 so i dont have any comfort settings -.-

Maybe it's not a Comfort setting & is somewhere else in the modules, but I definitely have it in my GTI. Perhaps it's not an option on non-GTI models.

On the Mk IV you can only havre this function with memory mirrors and electric seats. The function is actually controlled through the memory seat module under the drivers seat.

This question would be hopefully answered by the God of modifications Graham86. On mk4 vehicles with rain sensor is it possible to code for it to close windows and sunroof like mk5 when it begins to rain. Ill also do some
homework to see if this is a possible adaption.
