Hey guys just wanted to know, ive got the full version of vagcom and i want to program my key to roll up and roll down my windows with the unlock/lock buttons.

So just wanted to know can this be done (ive got the laptop to hook up and everything), and how do i do it, where do i go, and what is the code?

I also have the flip key, I have an 04 Mk4 2.0 sport

Is it a proper VW remote you have?

I think you need to have a real Ross-Tech cable, once connected to the car, have a look in central convenience or central locking.

Tutorial on Ross-Techs site saves me writing it all out.

Its a similar procedure to this MK5 one.

Tims rate at the moment is the one to beat, Hex Can never look back, had mines for over 4 yrs never an issue, paid for itself million times over, if you can interpret data, its half the battle, for a novice they provide icons to let you know what areas are safe to play with and the ones that are not which is a really cool feature IMO.
Heavier diagnostics needs a scope without doubt, Vagcom is great for little tweaks and reading codes if there are any in fact stored, thats when its next level, hmm, sorry went on a scope course last night and im fully addicted!!!!!!
    Conclude Vagcom Hex can FTW

You cannot use VAGCOM to program the windows to roll up/down with the remote on a Mk IV Golf.

You need a different program to hack into the hex code in the Comfort Module.

You also need a different cable as well.

Yeah same deal for the Polo. Shame that. Im sure there was an interface that could be piggy backed to do this, which basically does as Graeme correctly mentioned

KVW100 device will program the windows like you want, PM Fuzion for more info.

I think it reprograms directly to the ECU bypassing VAGCOM options you can normally turn on & off.
