Heya folks,
So I've become a little confused on spark plug replacement numbers for my V6 Bora with AUE engine code.
Did a bunch of reading online, checked ngk site and ebay and it seemed that the NGK PZFR5D-11 spark plug was the one for the 2.8L V6's - even for the AUE it seems.
Now, i've just pulled out the spark plugs from my car and to my horror it is a BKR5EKU coded spark plugs. I've researched these and turns out they were made for the mk3 12v VR6's.
There's a chance that maybe someone in my car's 200,000km history that the spark plugs have been changed and maybe they fitted the wrong one?
What to do next? Order the BKR5EKU ones or just fit the PZFR5D-11? I checked the details and the PZFR5D-11 has a resistor valve of 5k Ohm and the BKR5EKU has 1k Ohm.
What would you do ?
Thanks!
