V5 head gasket gone

hi guys, im interested in maybe getting a V5 Bora with a head gasket gone, wondering if anyone here knows if its a massive expensive job, or is i worth doing if the cars at the right price. cheers

Who will do the work on it?? Call VW and ask how much a set of gaskets will cost you and go from there. I'd think you would need up to 2 days to remove and refit the head, plus all the stuff that then needs doing that you forgot about.

It would have to be well under market value to warrant the messing about.
