I think those are JOM coilovers, same as these JOM COILOVER SUSPENSION NEW FOR VW GOLF CABRIOLET MK3 MK4 | eBay

I have them on my Bora, they go nice and low, easily adjustable and so far have worked perfectly for 15000ish km's

whats the ride comfort like? did you change any other suspension components when installing the coilovers?

Ride comfort is fine, just a little bouncy but once you start learning how to 'drive low' its a lot better.

No other suspension parts were changed but im fairly sure you can do a deal with JOM VW GOLF MK4 & BORA GERMAN COILOVER SUSPENSION [741001] - £139.64 : veedubmachine, Volkswagen Audi Seat Skoda Porsche spares and accessories and get whatever bits and pieces you would like.

(though it says that they have no units in stock)

Maybe go for a ride in a car with coilovers. Everyone will have different thoughts on their ride.
I had coilovers on a MK3 and was pretty firm but not harsh and sat just above the tyre, so nothing too extreme.
    Can't complain on that price.

@ Brisbane's Bora ; the ride height has really transformed the look of your ride, nice.
