Turbo back exhaust

I've been offered a 2nd hand Turbo back Exhuast from an Audi Performance center for $150. The mechanic said it was off a carr where they did some massive upgrades to. Is this a good deal? what should I look at to see if it's in good shape? It's from the turbo back to after the Cat so I'll still need to get the rest fabricated. What sort of performance gains would there be?? i've got a MK4 2003 GTI 1.8T?? any help would be appreciated.

What size is the pipe ? 2.5 inch seems to be what most people go for. Final muffler can make or break the car noise wise.

With a chip the exhaust will add another 10kw at the wheels, not sure about stock tune.
Yes $150 is cheap, ( if it has a cat). A new one from say APR cost a lot more than that.
Does the DP include a high flow cat ?
How many km on the system ?
