Thanks mate, I've done a bit of research on it and by all accounts it's a top product but I was just hoping for a "road test report" from a local.

C'mon Neil, turn on your computer.

Just trying to find out about a few different brace options to compliment the R32 control arm bushes to tighten the car up a bit, apparently the lower tie bar like the Neuspeed one is pretty worthwhile to help prevent flexing at the front control arm mount points.

The TST rear brace seems to be the choice for the rear internal style brace.

The traditional strut top brace in the engine bay generally seems to be regarded as fairly useless due to the strut towers being closely integrated with the firewall and therefore already well braced. Just for looks basically.

I read one test report where the strut top brace was mounted with some light non-flexible bonding glue (ie. not bolted on) and the car driven around like crazy, then checked only to find there wasn't even enough flexing at those points to disturb or crack the brittle glue joints.). Interesting!

I've had one in my R since they were first released. Easily one of the best bang for buck mods I did to the car. Mounting it is easy to do yourself if you have patience a decent drill and someone to help hold it, just make sure you install the nutserts properly the first time.

    Cheers Al

Thanks Al, that positive feedback re-enforces what I've been able to find out so far.

Mine's sitting in the garage at the moment ready to go in. Once my swaybars arrive the whole new suspension setup will go in in one hit.
    Can't wait.

You end up getting the TST mate? Where'd you get it from, they aren't answering emails at TST?

Yeah I got it from TST in California. I had to really hound them about it though. For the quote I had to hound them. For finding out shipping details I had to hound them. But once it shipped it arrived pretty quickly.
Whilst it's not installed, the brace itself and the nuts etc are all of high quality. It's a sexy little piece of equipment and is nice and light too.
For your emails, address them to Ken, it might even be worth giving them a call.

Ok thanks mate, sounds like I'll have to start hassling instead of waiting till they're in the mood to take my money. It must be good to run a business and be just able to ignore customers until you feel like selling something and putting some more money in the bank.

Tell me about it. I'm hunting down an SMIC at the moment, despite emailing probably a half dozen places for shipping quotes, I've only had 1 email back.

Why won't these people let me spend my hard earned money?!
