Trunk actuator

Hey guys my boot actuator isn’t getting any power (all my other doors open). The actuator itself works when I use a 9v battery. I looked at the wiring but everything looks good. I even tapped into the wiring from the furthest point into the car wiring and tapped a 9 v battery in just to make sure I wasn’t crazy and it worked. Now my question is where does the wiring go ? I am assuming either the nearest door or directly into the comfort control module.

From memory the wire often gets damaged just after it leaves the boot and into the body.
I had a similar situation on my bora after swapping boot lids over.
