Pretty easy mod. Spent about half an hour sanding the cap down on the bottom so it would clip in.
how much was the aero wiper arm? where did you get it from?

Got it straight from VW. Just got them to look up the part number for a Golf or Polo. Comes in three parts, all up about $50.
Don't forget you have to sand down the cap to get it to fit.

Well one new toy anyway. Arrived today from New York. One by Seat Cupra lip.
Fitting will be this weekend with my trusty heat gun.

Righto then. A couple of updates. The first one is that I got new tyres on yesterday. A brand new set of shiny Pirelli P-Zero Neros. Oooh... Pictures will be in the next post.
At the same time I got the gutter rash on all four wheels fixed up. What can I say it's good to have wheels that look like new for the first time since I got the car.
Excuse my camera, I think whatever it's got it's terminal.

Trent - the new lip looks much neater and looks more OEM than it did before.

The wheels came up a treat! I love the R32's wheels and now that they are pretty again they look even better. Nice work!

I have only one wheel on my Mk4 R32 which needs repairing - the previous (first) owner obviously wasn't very careful.

My question is who did you use (I'm in Adelaide though) and did they paint using a paint code or just match to existing silver?
    Hey mate,
It would have wanted to be a good job for the price I paid.
I actually I have no idea who did the actual repair. Because I have a friend of a friend at a local Bob Jane I organised with them to have the guy they use to fix up the wheels before they put the new tyres on.
Basically he's a guy in a van who comes around and does them on site.
In regards to spraying, it looks as if it has been matched to colour, as there are other parts of the rim which haven't been sprayed, however I can't tell the difference between them.
Your best bet would be to try your local tyre fitters and see who they recommend. If a common name starts to come up then they're probably the way to go.
Sorry I can't help you out more than that.
    Cheers
