Throttle Position Acuator

hey ppl
i had my golf put on vagcom and it gave the following error code
00282 Throttle Position Acuator V60 - Regulating difference.

how can i fix this problem and, what does it mean and what may have caused it?

You need to clear the codes and perform basic settings on the throttle body.
If that doesnt work and it is a hard fault, you will need a new throttle body.
It helps if you list what engine capacity and code your car has.

its a 1.6L manual. so i picked my car up yest after doing a clutch and obviously they have disconnected the battery. this morning my car wont turn on? is there a way to reset the throttle body alignment without a comp since i cant even get it to the mech? i tried the following method: disconnect batt for hour, then put key in ignition on (when batt and eng lights come on cluster) for a minute and then turn it off, and then tried starting but same thing?

please help!!!! argh so annoying
