New Bora 4Mo owner (finallllly)

howdy Mk4 brethren!

After many months of drooling and waiting for the wifey to agree to a second car, i have laid my stinky paws on a great Bora V6 4mo in black. Very happy. Stock as a rock. I take delivery of her tomorrow and took her for the world's longest test drive today. Stoked.

Having the Mk5 TDI as my daily, I'm sure you Bora owners will agree that they are great cars. I don't know if its the build or the chassis or simply the tyres he had on but the tyre roar is VERY noticably quiet in the Bora by comparison to the Conti Sports 2 i have on the Golf. In fact, there's perhaps a little too much sound deadening at the firewall as i wanted to hear the VR6 come to life....

Incidentally, i have the AVC9000 fitted to the TDI and wondered if anyone has fitted the AVC equivalent double-DIN unit to their Mk4's? Or is there a better unit?

Good price, we nearly bought one 3 years ago and sometimes regret it, but a complementary car to the TDI for sure.

congrats.. and welcome to the "Family"... To put it in perspective.. 2.5yrs ago, I paid double that but it had one third the Kms... Damn they have dropped in price!!!

And what a price...thats what I got for my TS Astra 3 years ago,whiuch was 6 years old.
