So much fun fitting it or so much fun now that it's on the car?

So much fun now it's on the car, I didn't get to have fun putting it on and figuring out how to take the old one off haha
Turbo definitely spools faster and has slightly higher peak, went from 17 to 19.
What's next for me now gav? haha

Frankenturbo is the next logical for me. Although a K03s would need less hardware to run.

Time for a slow audio upgrade, will be a weekend project over a few weeks, would prefer take my time and do it right the first time. So this afternoon I started running cables, found the engine bay fairly average compared to other cars I've worked on to find spare holes to run wire, but after pulling bits and pieces out I ended up finding a main wiring loom which entered the cabin underneath the weathersheid and popping out near the fuse box which makes it very easy to run down the side of the golf.
So pulled the airbox out, and weathersheild cover and a few small bits and bobs to find this channel running along to battery, which hides the cable/ protects it from the elements.

Drilled into this plastic cover, just big enough for the cable

    All covered up

lots of silicon to ensure weather proofing for the dash electronics, never forget to waterproof holes you make

Great job with the build so far !! It's pretty amazing when you think those seats looked reasonably clean from the outside only to find with a proper clean they weren't. Wheels n Turbo look interesting too

    Thanks Wadz,
Yeah the seats were a little stiff but looked pretty good, lesson learnt that leather needs plenty of maintenance to keep it good.

Yeah Gav, needed more power, was getting bored and i only drive it weekends so might as well do it up probably buying a mk4 r32 this weekend too haha
